mark is such a gifted & blessed writter. i'll always compare his work 2 his masterpiece, 'what on earth is going on' which isn't really fair but oh well. mark did a good job here and i do recommend reading this outing. get ready though cuz mark does call the usa on it's porn, ssm, and other things and is a bit hard 2 swallow but it's the truth. i'm really curious where he goes with his next book 2112. can't wait

Hitchcock pretty much lays out the Biblical reference or nonreference of the last days in America.....No one knows for sure but much speculation is needed to come to a decision one way or the other as to whether the USA will be on the "right" side.
A a Roman Catholic and now some sixty eight (68) years of age we did not study the Bible in grammer school.
So he brings home some thoughts planted by the good nuns and the fifth grade Ancient History class at St. Helen's Grammer School taught many years ago.
I think the book hits the spot if you tend to believe as does the author and those he relies on to support his theories.
I do believe that his theory of God's blessings ,to date, on America ring true for the three reasons he listed.
After that, as is said, "the beauty is in the eye of the beholder."
I also read his "The Coming Crisis in Iran" ( Ear ahn ) as opposed to ( I ran ).
This too opened some doors that the elitists told the unwashed we needed to open to understand the Muslim world.
Good luck and enjoy.

The Late Great USA: The US Attack of Iran Hitchcock's scholarship covers a variety of ways at looking at the question of the place of the US in Bible Prophecy, and is an interesting read for that reason, but his conclusions are predictable because they are drawn more from his theological orientation than from fresh and honest searches of the prophetic pages of the Bible. He is wrong in his conclusion that the US does not factor in final prophetic events because he cannot leave the slavery of his lockstep with evangelical orthodoxy on the point. Another book with essentially the same title (which apparently he borrowed in titling his work) reaches much more Biblical conclusions in showing the major role the US plays in earth's final events, The Late Great USA: The US Attack of Iran. the book was okay, but i didn't enjoy it at all. In fact i had to force myself to finish it. I'm sure that others have found it intriquing, but i found it to be a bore.
