5 out of 5 stars The clue to the prophetic puzzle.   October 30, 1999

Despite the outright biases declared against this book, truth is, the Roman church still seem to fit the sterotype of a prostituted Christian church that St. Paul describes as 'Apostate'. Any doctrine that is not supported by the bible whether by Catholics or Protestants alike are plain and simple apostasy. The only way out of apostacy is for the Roman Catholic church to abandon its pagan traditions, focus on Christ alone, repent and go back to the bible as the sole authority in Christian faith, obey God rather than man. Otherwise, true Christian believers from the Catholic fold should leave this religious system and heed Apocalypse chapter 18, God's call 'Come out of her My people'. Many of the Catholics are true Christians in faith. Please understand that this statement is a call for the Roman church to reform and not against the individual Catholic faithfuls. We are individually accountable to God, and not by our religious affiliation.

5 out of 5 stars The most complete and accurately history book on catholicism   July 21, 1998

This book is an incredible collection of catholic history and its rise to power. It clearly shows how the world's biggest cult developed such an unbiblical system of bondage launching itself from around the year 300 off the back of legitimate Christianity. A history book that exposes the cult propaganda for what it is. Catholics hate it! But like the Bible, they have not read it.

After reading this book, it motivated me to spend several months researching the Catholic church and it's history. I've read several other books on the subject and have done a lot of research on the internet. I can only say that I am absolutely astounded that so many people (including me) are/were unaware of the evil that has been perpetrated by the Catholic church throughout history, (both recent and not). This book was the beginning of a fascinating (and disturbing) study for me.

An exhaustive look at the history of the catholic church and her distortion of true Christianity. The author does it ellegantly supporting it with documentation that proves his case. This is a book for Christian apologists, for catholics and non-christians alike. To the catholic reader, a rebuttal of the book is inevitable, because the truths presented here are rather crude but truths nonetheless. Excellent book.

When Dave Hunt wrote the book "The Seduction Of Christianity" many wrote of this work however as time moved on these same people who mocked Hunts writings were then saying he was spot on. The same goes for this book 'A Women Rides The Beast' which uses mainly Catholic sources and history that Roman Catholics either do not know or want to forget. Of course the Vatican is the Whore of Rev 17 no other system comes close to the description given which is indeed clear and to the point. Hunt proves his case by using the actions, teachings and history of the Vatican and then ties it up with Scripture. Yes Hunt again will be proved correct like his other work in Seduction. The Whore must be exposed and Hunt has done the job. Well done Dave!
