5 out of 5 stars Excellent Book   January 26, 2009

I have been reading eschatology books for almost 30 years now, and I must say that if I were forced to choose only one, hands down it would be "Antichrist: Islam's Awaited Messiah" by Joel Richardson.

This is pure meat and bones stuff, very illuminating, and easy to read. It is nothing like the Jack Van Impe garbage that is typical of books that deal with this subject.

I have read many books on eschatology and this is one of the few that actually scares me. The correlations that Mr. Richardson draws between the islam mahdi and the AntiChrist are so plain to see that only some one with their heads in the sand or an utter fool would fail to see that they are one and the same. For those who don't believe, when the AC rises don't say that Joel Richardson never told you so.

5 out of 5 stars The Best Book On Prophecy Out There   April 2, 2007

I keep up with most of the various books out there on Biblical prophecy, but this book is hands down the best one to date. Joel's writing style is very easy to follow and more than any other book that I have read, he gathers all of the data together in such a way that leaves little room for doubt as to his interpretations. What is so interesting about this book is that Joel discusses the Islamic beliefs about the end of the world and compares them what the Bible says about these things and shows dozens of amazingly specific parallels. He shows how Muslims have been set-up to recive the Antichrist wehn he comes. One thing that I appreacited is that Joel doesn't pass on the many of the disproven ideas that several other prophecy books are still passing along. Such as the idea that Gog and Magog is lead by Russia. Or that the Antichrist will be European. Give me a break. Europe is dying and being taken over by the Muslims as we speak. When one reads too many of the popular prophecy books out there, they all seem to repeat the same old claims, as if no one ever really questions thier validity. But when you actually get out the Bible Dictionaries and Commentaries, we are directed not to Russia, but to the modern day nation of Turkey. So I deeply appreciate that Joel didn't pass on these mistakes. I've handed out several of Joel's books to my pastors and friends and they have all been amazed. Recieves my highest recommendation.

This is an outstanding book and gives a fascinating look at Islamic prophecy and the parallels with Christianity. This is a must read for any who wants to better understand Islam and its desire for world domination. Well thought out and researched.

I found this book to be VERY informative. It explains end times perspective from both religions. While one might think that they are very different they match up well. One thing that opened my eyes is the revelation of Return of the Muslim Jesus. In the Christian bible we would be seen as the false prophet. The muslims see Jesus as a prophet but not at the same stature of Mohammad. The false jesus(FJ) sets to "explain" how the scriptures were misinterpreted to convert christians to Islam. The FJ will do signs and wonders. now the real bible tells us that in the last days "Do not be deceived in the last days saying that I am the Christ" or Paul said" If anyone trys to teach of a different Christ then we have taught you. Things that make you go hmmmm
