I recently purchased The Everyday Life Bible and absolutely love it! I have always been a fan of Joyce Meyer because she "tells it like it is". When I try to read the King James version of the Bible I just can't understand alot of it and I get discouraged. Now, I am excited about sitting down and reading The Everyday Life Bible because I can understand it and I'm learning so much and I'm on my way to a closer walk with the Lord. Thanks Joyce for your mission work! You are an inspiration!

I came across the Amplified Bible due to Joyce Meyer's work. Even though I own 4 copies of it, I was excited about this one when I heard about it. I am not disappointed -- I love it! Once again, Joyce and her staff have revealed their committment to excellence and integrity with the release of this Bible. Recently I've had a book published that I've spent 10 years on from start-to-published on spirituality called "Oh My God. It's ME!" I know that it was Joyce's work that helped me get through much of the testing and preparation required to present that kind of material on a more public level. Joyce Meyer is truly a great spiritual leader and teacher. I feel almost as if she has been a mentor for me through her tapes and books. I am so thankful for her and her work. Sheryl Valentine

Although I own several different Bible translations and read one or the other daily, none of them ever seemed to really "fit" me. This one does! I love the Amplified version and Joyce's commentary is spot on (as always). I agree with another reviewer that NOWHERE in this Bible or on it's packaging does it say that it is a study Bible and IT IS NOT! It IS a great, easy-easy to read translation with comments and "life points" by Joyce scattered throughout. I would HIGHLY recommend "The Everyday Life bible" as a first Bible for a new believer or even as an AWESOME gift for a high school/college graduate! Well done Joyce! Well done!

Have you ever found it difficult to hear from God just by reading the Bible...even the most mature Christians can have a difficult time understanding how the Bible is to be applied to their lives today. The "Everyday Life Bible" will NOT disappoint you! As a Biblical Counselor, published Christian Author, and Prayer Minister, I can tell you that this Bible by far is the most inspirational and life applicable Bibles I have studied. EVERY time you simply open the Bible, you will find a life changing lesson that God has for you. If that were not enough, as you go to the back of the Bible, the Titles of Joyce's articles within the Bible are listed with the Scripture and pages that coincide. Additionally, there is a list of life applicable Scriptures that speak to a wide range of daily living topics for believers and nonbelievers. This Bible is just as annointed as Joyce is through her ministry. I am recommending it to everyone I counsel because it is the fastest way to understand God's Word and be led by the Holy Spirit. This Bible is sure to bring you closer to God!

I really enjoy this Bible. I was reading a Living Bible without commentary and I found it boring at times. With this version I read my bible twice as often. Her commentary and historical notes really but the Word in a context that I can realate to. Also her additions are in nice purple type or have purple accents so you can never confuse her opinions with the actual Word.
