This is a great gift bible. The only complaint I have about it is that the print could stand to be a bit larger. It is easy to read and understand. Great for teens or someone just starting out wanting to get closer to God!

I got this bible as a gift to myself :-) The super soft cover is beautiful. The font is not too small or too big. I am thrilled.

My son has the brown and blue version of this Bible and likes it very much. Even though it's a small, portable volume, its pages seem to have a thicker feel in comparison to other small Bibles we have. However, I had a very hard time getting the blue version to show up in searches on the Amazon site. Here is the ISBN of the "boy" version if anyone wants it: ISBN-13: 9780310927440.

If you were brought up on King James, well, this is a lot more accessible. It is physically beautiful and I love it.

The NIV is a fine little Bible. I grew up reading it and it has served me very well through the years. It's easy to read while still being dense enough for study and discussion. It's balanced that way and would make a great gift for the thinking new christian. Recommended.
