5 out of 5 stars A "Must Read" for Catholics and protestants   December 26, 1998

An excellent overview of Roman Catholicism taken mostly from Catholic sources. This book should be read by Catholics to lay open the lies that Rome has forced upon it's own followers. It should be read by protestants who are enamored by Catholicism's seeming "holiness" and have fallen into the trap of believing that it is a Christian religion. It should be read by anyone anticipating the return of Jesus and wants a preview of the coming one-world religion.

5 out of 5 stars Catholicism "unmasked".   July 3, 1998

Ex-Catholics (of which I am one) will relish this expose of a "religious" system that continues to hold millions in bondage. Catholics will loathe it because those in "darkness" cannot tolerate the "light of truth".

Mr. Hunt, relying on mostly Catholic sources, builds a strong case for identifying the Whore of Revelation 17 as the Roman system.

Unfortunately, the people that really need to open their minds to the truth revealed in the pages of this volume, will ignore it as "Catholic bashing". Yet, these same "enlightened" individuals will accept revelations from apparitions of the Virgin Mary as "gospel". Figure that one out !!

5 out of 5 stars a spiritual eye-opener   March 3, 1999

Catholic history is tainted with horrors of lies, theft, murders and persecutions. Now the so-called leader sits on a throne and makes a lot of noise about his speaking without error. I think all christians (and catholics!) should read this book. One underlying point of the book is that all people should beware of the catholic church. For example, the Inquistion was never abolished-it just goes by a different name at present; the reason(s) is obvious. Plot and counterplot, what appears as goodness to the world is that something disguised as an angel of light. How many times in how many places has the catholic church blended the world with the church to get the people to join, and then enslave them in one way or another? I believe Dave has certainly captured the essence and presented it quite well.

This book is a must read! Being an ex-Catholic, I knew the church was misleading many, but I was unaware how bad it really was. Thank you Dave for your insight. The bottom line is you can only get to heaven by putting your trust and faith in Jesus. There is no other way! (John 3:16)
