 A Comforting Glimpse Into A Scary Future November 20, 2009

There is no doubt that the ideas behind Mark Hitchcock's look into the future are scary. But they are not ideas he has conjured up on his own. He uses the word of God and Bible prophecy to show us just how God tells us the end times will be. It is very clarifying and shocking to look at the examples he gives of how our economic world is being molded by God's hands into the exact end He predicted. And honestly, it all makes perfect sense. I had actually personally considered several of the topics Hitchcock covers before reading the book. They are all very obvious and sensible topics we encounter in our everyday lives - the author simply shows us how it all applies to Bible prophecy.
As Hitchcock explains, although the topics of economic events happening in our world are not all necessarily bad or scary, the end result of the antichrist being able to control us through our financial lives surely is. But read the whole book and realize that if you accept Christ as your Savior and plan to be with him after the rapture, then this book is simply an interesting look at how God's plan is unfolding. A comfort and a reassurance that the Bible is real and true.
A truly fascinating read. Ideas in this book are clear, easy to understand, and so intriguing. Glad to know I will be with God before the mark of the beast is put into use! Thanks Mark for a great read!

A friend recommended the writings of this author. I am fascinated, apprehensive, but also comforted in the knowledge that Christians will be raptured before the worst of the future begins. Mark makes very compelling arguments to set for his case, all backed by Scriptures. It is an easy read about a difficult subject, so I applaud him. Get it. Tell your family and friends to get it. Give it as a gift, which I plan to do. These days, what better gift to give than the gift of being forewarned! What's that saying? Without knowledge the people perish (or something to that effect)?

This book is very informative yet clear and easy to read. Hitchcock previews the future of our economy as it makes the shift to "cashless." A must read!

Of all the books I've read by Mark Hitchcock, this is one of the best I have read by him. While he lets the reader know what is happening, he also reminds the reader to not become imbalanced with Bible prophecy. Well worth the read!
