Most parish youth ministries and catholic high schools in my diocese seem to have adopted this book as either a resource or text book. It is clear, concise, faithful to the catechism, and able to articulate the faith at an age-appealing level. This book and the Catholic Youth Bible should go hand in hand as the two essentials that every teen should have.

If you are teaching the subject, it's terrific. If you just want a better way to describe and explain the Faith to young folks, you cannot beat this.

I am a CCD teacher and retreat facilitator and I feel that the Catholic Faith Handbook offers so much information that both youth and adults are unaware of. I've learned a lot myself.

I had to reorder this book from another source because the Isbn # I put in said it was the right book but I had to have the second edition. The ISBN should not have been a match. I wasted my money.
